1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up for, purchasing, attending or participating in classes at The Firm – Pilates Intensive (the “Studio”), you agree to abide by these Terms of Service, our studio policies and any posted rules or guidelines.
2. The Firm Method
The Firm Method is a high-intensity, low-impact training style rooted in Pilates and enhanced with strength training, athletic conditioning and precise tempo control.
Classes focus on slow, controlled movement, minimal momentum and strategic resistance on the XFormer to create deep muscular fatigue. Classes are open to all levels of experience and can be adjusted with modifications or intensifications.
3. Booking a Class
● Classes can be booked through The Firm App or on our website at thefirm-pilates.com. ● Booking in advance is required to secure your spot in class.
● You may join the waitlist for full classes. See our Waitlist Policy below.
4. Preparing for Your First Class
● First-time clients must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class to allow time for parking, check-in and an introduction to the XFormer.
● Grip socks are required for all classes and are available for purchase in-studio. ● Please wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes and bring water to stay hydrated. ● All classes are open to all levels of experience. Modifications and intensifications can be provided throughout class.
5. Check-In & Late Arrivals
● Clients are responsible for checking themselves in before class through The Firm App or with assistance from the instructor or front desk.
● Guests must be checked in by a staff member.
● We offer a 5-minute grace period for late arrivals.
● After 5 minutes, your spot may be released to a waitlisted client if they are present. If no one claims the spot, you may still be able to join class.
● First-time clients must arrive at least 15 minutes early to be admitted to class.
6. Class Cancellation & No-Show Policy
● Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time to avoid penalties.
● For all memberships and class packages:
○ Late Cancel (within 12 hours): $15 fee
○ No-Show: $30 fee
● For Single Class Passes and Guest Passes, the class credit will be lost in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.
● Once added to a class from the waitlist, the same cancellation and no-show policies apply.
7. Waitlist Policy
● If a class is full, you may join the waitlist.
● By joining the waitlist, you are committing to attend if you are added to class more than 12 hours before the class start time.
● More than 12 hours before class: The waitlist automatically fills and the next person in line is added to class.
● Within 12 hours of class: A text is sent to the waitlist and the first person to book receives the available spot.
● You may remove yourself from the waitlist at any time without penalty. ● Once you are added to class, the standard cancellation and no-show policies apply.
8. Memberships, Payments & Studio Access
● Memberships, class packages and drop-in purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
● All memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment.
● Memberships are either studio-specific or All Access.
● Studio-specific memberships provide access to the designated studio only. ● An All Access membership is required to take classes at both Bountiful and South Ogden. Studio-specific memberships may be upgraded to All Access for an additional $25/month.
● Class packages and Single Class Passes are studio-specific and cannot be used across locations.
● After the initial 3-month commitment, memberships continue on an auto-renewing basis until canceled in accordance with the cancellation policy below.
9. Membership Cancellations
● Membership cancellations may be requested after the 3-month minimum commitment has been fulfilled.
● To cancel, clients must email info@thefirm-pilates.com at least 30 days before their next scheduled membership payment.
● If a scheduled membership payment falls within the 30-day notice period, that payment will still be processed and membership access will continue through the applicable billing period.
10. Membership Freezes
● Memberships may be frozen for $30 per month, for up to 6 months per year. ● To request a freeze, email info@thefirm-pilates.com with your name, requested freeze start date and return date.
● During a freeze, membership billing and class access are paused.
● When the membership resumes, the current billing cycle will pick up where it left off and the next payment date will be adjusted accordingly.
● Time spent on a membership freeze does not count toward the 3-month minimum commitment. Any remaining time in the minimum commitment will resume when the membership is reactivated.
11. Pregnancy Guidelines
● Clients who are pregnant should notify their instructor prior to class so appropriate guidance and modifications can be provided.
● If you are new to The Firm, we do not recommend beginning classes during your second or third trimester.
● Clients who have been attending regularly may continue with supportive modifications as appropriate.
● We strongly recommend pausing your membership during your third trimester.
12. Health & Safety
● Clients must disclose any injuries, conditions or limitations to the instructor before class. ● The Firm – Pilates Intensive reserves the right to refuse participation when necessary to protect the health or safety of the client, other clients or staff.
● Grip socks and appropriate workout attire are required.
13. Personal Property & Lost and Found
● Clients are responsible for keeping their personal belongings secure. The Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
● Items left behind will be kept in the Studio’s lost and found.
● Items not claimed within 60 days will be donated.
14. Intellectual Property
All class formats, names, designs, methods and brand materials are the exclusive property of The Firm – Pilates Intensive.
15. Changes to Terms
The Firm – Pilates Intensive reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued purchase, booking or participation in classes following an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
