Redefining Modern Pilates

The Firm delivers high-intensity, low-impact training that challenges the body through control, precision, and intensity. Built on The Firm Method, our approach emphasizes slow, tempo-based movement and time under tension to create lasting, full-body transformation.

Powered by the XFormer, each class is beat-driven, using rhythm to guide movement, enhance focus, and maintain consistency throughout every sequence. With a boutique setting, small class sizes, and intentional coaching, the experience is immersive, challenging, and highly effective.

FAQs

What is the ‘Firm Method’?

The Firm is a high-intensity, low-impact training method rooted in Pilates and enhanced with strength training, athletic conditioning and precise tempo control.

Classes focus on slow, controlled movement, minimal momentum and strategic resistance on the XFormer to create deep muscular fatigue. The result is a workout that is challenging, efficient and deeply effective.

How do I book a class?

Book classes through The Firm App or on our website at thefirm-pilates.com

Create an account, purchase an intro offer, class package or membership, then head to the schedule to reserve your spot. Booking in advance is required to secure your spot.

What should I know before my first class?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, check-in and a quick walkthrough of the XFormer. Be sure to check in with the instructor or front desk when you arrive.

Grip socks are required for every class and are available for purchase in-studio. Wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes and bring water to stay hydrated.

Do you offer beginner classes or different class levels?

No beginner class is required. All of our classes are open to all levels of experience, whether it’s your first class or you’ve been coming to The Firm for years.

Every class can be adjusted to meet you where you’re at, with modifications or intensifications offered throughout class.

If it’s your first time, please arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can introduce you to the XFormer and get you set up before class begins.

Do I need grip socks?

Yes. Grip socks are required for every class for safety and stability on the XFormer. If you don’t have a pair, grip socks are available for purchase at both studios.

How do I check in for class?

Please make sure to check yourself in before class. You can check in using The Firm App or ask the instructor or front desk for assistance if needed. While we’ll do our best to help, check-in is ultimately your responsibility.

Guests must be checked in by staff. If you’ve brought a guest, let us know when you arrive. If they’re arriving separately, have them check in with the instructor or front desk.

What happens if I’m late to class?

We offer a 5-minute grace period for late arrivals.

After 5 minutes, your spot may be released to a waitlisted client if they are present. If no one claims the spot, you may still be able to join class.

First-time clients must arrive at least 15 minutes early to be admitted to class.

What is the cancellation and no-show policy?

To avoid penalties, please cancel at least 12 hours before class

For all memberships and class packages:

  • Late Cancel (within 12 hours): $15 fee
  • No-Show: $30 fee

For Single Class Passes and Guest Passes, your class credit will be lost if you late cancel or no-show.

How does the waitlist work?

You can join the waitlist for any full class. By joining, you’re committing to attend if you’re added to class more than 12 hours before the class start time.

More than 12 hours before class: The waitlist automatically fills and the next person in line is added to class.

Within 12 hours of class: A text is sent to the waitlist and the first person to book gets the available spot.

You can remove yourself from the waitlist at any time without penalty. Once you’re added to class, our standard late cancellation and no-show policies apply.

Can I take classes at both studio locations?

Memberships are either studio-specific or All Access

To take classes at both Bountiful and South Ogden, an All Access membership is required. Existing studio-specific memberships can be upgraded to All Access for an additional $25/month.

Class packages and Single Class Passes are studio-specific and cannot be used across locations.

Is there a minimum membership commitment?

Yes. All memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment.

After completing your initial commitment, your membership will continue to automatically renew until you cancel.

How do I cancel my membership?

After completing your 3-month minimum commitment, email info@thefirm-pilates.com at least 30 days before your next payment to cancel.

If your next payment falls within the 30-day notice period, that payment will still be processed and your membership will remain active through the applicable billing period.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes. Memberships can be frozen for $30/month, up to 6 months per year

To request a freeze, email info@thefirm-pilates.com with your name, freeze start date and return date.

During a freeze, billing and class access are paused. When your membership resumes, your current billing cycle will pick up where it left off and your next payment date will be adjusted accordingly.

Time spent on a freeze does not count toward your 3-month minimum commitment. Any remaining time in your commitment will continue when your membership resumes.

Can I take class while pregnant?

If you are pregnant, please notify your instructor before class so we can help ensure a safe experience.

If you’re new to The Firm, we do not recommend beginning classes during your second or third trimester. For clients who have been attending regularly, we’re happy to provide supportive modifications.

We strongly recommend pausing your membership during your third trimester.

What happens if I leave something at the studio?

We’ll keep any items left behind in our lost and found. You’re welcome to call, text or check in-studio to see if we’ve found your item.

Items not claimed within 60 days will be donated.
