HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS

Book Your First Class

We’re so excited to welcome you to class. To begin, please create your account (either on our website at the link below or via our app) and choose one of our new client specials. Once you’re set, book a class at a time that works for you. Booking in advance is required to secure your spot as class sizes are limited.

Come Prepared

Please arrive ten minutes prior to class starting to allow ample time to find parking, get checked in with the instructor, and go over the machine. Every class requires the use of grip socks. It is mandatory to wear them for safety and hygiene purposes. We do sell them in the studio. Don’t forget a water bottle—you can fill it at our fountain or purchase one in the studio.

Stay Consistent

Our classes welcome all fitness levels. Each reformer is equipped with adjustable springs so you can tailor the intensity of your workout. Your instructor will guide you in choosing the right setup—whether you’re easing in or ready to push further. For lasting results, we recommend practicing 2–3 times per week. Consistency creates change.

FAQs

What is the ‘Firm Method’?

The Firm Method blends the foundational principles of Pilates with strength training and cardio for a results-driven, 45-minute workout. Using the XFormer—a state-of-the-art evolution of the traditional reformer—we deliver dynamic, high-intensity, low-impact sessions designed to challenge the entire body through resistance-based movement.

Is this traditional Pilates?

In short—no. While we incorporate foundational elements of classical Pilates, The Firm Method is a more intense, dynamic approach that blends strength training, cardio, and controlled resistance for a full-body transformation.

Is the class taught on a reformer?

Yes, the XFormer is an advanced evolution of the traditional Pilates reformer—larger, smoother, and designed with enhanced functionality. Its innovative components allow for hundreds of dynamic, high-intensity workouts that go far beyond classical Pilates.

How do I book a class?

You can book classes on our website via the link in our bio or on our app. Booking in advance is required to secure your spot.

How should I prepare for my first class?

Please arrive ten minutes prior to class starting to allow ample time to find parking, get checked in with the instructor, and go over the machine.

Every class requires the use of grip socks. It is mandatory to wear them for safety and hygiene purposes. We do sell them in the studio. Please wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes that allow for a full range of motion. Additionally, we highly recommend bringing water to stay hydrated during the class.

Where can I find parking?

Our studio offers limited onsite parking on a first come, first served basis. This includes parking spaces located in front of the building and behind the building. Please refrain from utilizing our neighbors’ parking spaces at The Bike Shoppe to avoid disrupting classes and potential inconveniences of moving your vehicle during class hours.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations for classes must be made at least 12 hours prior to the start of class. There is a Late Fee of $25 if you change, cancel, or modify your reservation within 12 hours of the start of class and a No Show Fee of $30 if you book a class and do not show up.

What is your late policy?

If you are not present within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time of your reserved class, you will be marked as a no show and charged a fee, in the event that we have a guest waiting from the waitlist, your spot will be given to a client on the waitlist. Please be aware that arriving late may result in missing part of the workout, so please enter the room as discreetly as possible.

What is your missed class policy?

If a client fails to attend a reserved class without cancelling a $30 No Show Fee will be charged to their account. We understand sometimes life happens, if your absence is due to an emergency, email our studio and we will be happy to accommodate you.

How does the waitlist work?

You can join the waitlist for any fully booked class. Please note that by adding yourself to the waitlist, you are committing to attend if you are added to the class—late cancel and no-show fees will still apply.
If you’re no longer able to attend class, please make sure to remove yourself from the waitlist. A no-show fee will apply if you no-show a class you were added to, even if you are added last minute.
If a spot opens up, you will be automatically added to the class and notified via email, up to one hour before the class begins. After that, the online waitlist will close, and any remaining spots will become available on a first-come, first-served basis through our website, app, or for in-person drop-ins.

Am I able to take a class if I’m pregnant?

We recommend consulting with your physician before starting. If you’re cleared to move and feel confident, so are we—and we’re happy to offer modifications to support you as needed.
